Third and Fourth Class Gaelic Football League

Over fifty boys from Third and Fourth Classes took part on the Autumn Gaelic Football League. Matches were played during lunchtime on the school pitch. Many thanks to the teachers who gave up their lunchtime to referee the matches. Dublin, captained by James Clince, emerged as winners this year, narrowly edging out Galway, captained by Ben Geraghty, in a thrilling final. A special mention to the managers of both teams, Tomas O'Gorman (Dublin) and Mick McGrath (Galway), for their hard work and dedication to their teams.

Fifth and Sixth Class Soccer League

The Winter Soccer League for Fifth and Sixth Class boys is in progress at the moment. Almost sixty boys are participating and there is very keen competition amongst the teams. Six teams will play off in a league system and the top four will qualify for the semi-finals. The teams are Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Lyons, Juventus and Villa Real. The present competition between the teams makes for a riveting final before Christmas.
