Reusing Waste in School
We recycled lots of things to make our pumpkins:
- Cereal boxes
- Old jumpers
- Yoghurt cartons (0ur glue pots)
We love painting on paper bags! We reduce the waste by painting on them.
We also reuse the following in our Art classes:
- Newspapers
- Paper bags
- Magazines
- Lino (Our clay mats)
- Fabric
- Old t-shirts (Our painting shirts)
Senior Infants B try to recycle lots of waste in our Art & Craft classes. We used cereal boxes and old birthday cards to make lovely pictures for our families. We use margarine tubs to hold our crayons and markers. We will use cereal boxes, tin foil, old wrapping paper, ribbon, etc. when we are making our Christmas decorations. We don’t like throwing things away, we like to use things again!
