We recycle paper by putting it in the paper bin.

We have a recycling box too. We can put old mobile phones, ink cartridges, ringos, greeting cards and used batteries into our recycling box.

We have a stamp box too for posting used stamps!

In the Junior Infants A:

In Junior Infants B, the children are introduced to the habits of reducing and recycling:

We love painting on paper bags! We reduce the waste by painting on them.

We recycled lots of things to make our pumpkins:

• Cereal boxes
• Old jumpers
• Yoghurt cartons (our glue pots)

We also reuse the following in our Art classes:

• Newspapers
• Paper bags
• Magazines
• Lino (Our clay mats)
• Fabric
• Old t-shirts (Our painting shirts)
