Basic First Aid for Parents

Order of Malta members, David and Christy, delivered a series of talks over three weeks in October. This course incorporated all elements and modules necessary to deal with Infant/Childhood emergencies, up to and including Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation. Twenty two ladies attended and they found the course most informative and relevant.

Every Parent’s Guide to Survival

This new Parenting Programme is being delivered in the Parents’ Room by two members of H.S.E. The six week course covers topics such as Positive Parenting, Promoting Children’s Development, Managing Misbehaviour, Planning Ahead and Implementing Parenting Routines. The programme will conclude on December 20th with presentation of certificates and celebration.

Christmas Shoebox Appeal

Once again the appeal was a huge success this year with over 250 boxes donated. Thank you to the children and their families who are so generous.
