I.C.T. is a very important aspect of everyday life in St. Senan’s Primary School. We endeavour to integrate I.C.T. throughout the school. In the last year we have opened a state of the art, purpose built computer room, containing thirty two flat screen personal computers. All computers in the school are connected to the school network, which is benefiting all users, by enabling us to use internal and external email, file sharing and a centralised back-up system. Every classroom has at least one personal computer, for use by both students and teachers.

The use of I.C.T. is promoted throughout the school, with a large software library, as well as N.C.T.E. monitored broadband access on every computer. The use of a data projector for presentation purposes, and internet for research, allows students an interactive learning experience. Skills development is a priority for both staff and students, as we share learning and I.C.T. resources, when possible.
