In May 2006 the staff, parents and pupils of St. Senan's Primary School were delighted to be awarded the International Green-Schools Green Flag Award from An Taisce. The Green Flag Award was the result of tremendous efforts by pupils, staff and parents in the area of environmental awareness and care, which included composting, recycling and litter reduction.
The Green Flag was officially raised at the school on 22nd June 2005. The members of our Green-Schools committee come from a cross section of our school community, including teachers, students, school management, ancillary staff and parents.
