Class 1C looked at ways of using and recycling glass for our Green Schools project last month. We found out that many things are made of glass - windows, ornaments, jars, containers and light bulbs. We collected lots of glass from home and brought it to the recycling bank that we have in school.

We also made posters to show people how easy it is to recycle glass. All you have to do is wash and sort it into different colours before you throw it in! It's that easy!

Finally, we decided to make some art to show people one of the beautiful things we can make from old glass. Here's our one-of-a-kind glass window to prove it!
