Art Exhibition

The Art Alongside Project undertaken by parents during ’05/’06 culminated in a wonderful exhibition of their work at Wexford Arts Centre on May 25th last. The exhibition entitled “Crossing Borders” showcased the creative talents of the ten artists involved. The official launch attracted a capacity crowd of artists and their families, teachers, members of B.O.M. and local councillors. Professional artist Helen Robbins and Rosaleen Molloy, Wexford Co.Council congratulated the group on their achievement of producing Art of such high quality. This was the first time that parents had taken part in the project and lots of hidden talents were discovered. The exhibition ran for one week and the work is now on display in the school.
