Arklow Music Festival

Archive

The pupils of Fourth Class took part in the Arklow Music Festival, in March of this year. The Arklow Music Festival is an annual competition festival which includes orchestras, choirs, solo singing, drama and verse speaking. Groups come from all over Ireland to participate.

The children took part in the Action Song Competition, with a song called ‘Tell Me Can You Dance’. Both classes worked very hard to learn both the song and the actions to the song, for weeks before the competition.

Minutes from performing

All the children dressed up, for the day, in cowboy outfits. It was great fun, and we saw other groups performing their action songs. We did really well on the day, and enjoyed taking part in the competition.
